Abstract
In science literacy ability is one thing that cannot be separated because one of the ways to acquire an educational knowledge is by reading. However, at this time the development of the times and technology is growing rapidly. With this convenience, it will also have a big impact on the quality of education in Indonesia at this time. The influence given was divided into positive and negative. If this progress is used as well as possible, it will influence and guide progress in the development of literacy in Indonesian society. However, in reality, with the existing facilities, the educational literacy rating according to PISA is still in a low status compared to other countries. In addition, the morals and behavior shown by students also show a tendency to decline in moral development and behavior. Therefore, to balance it on aspects of cognitive intelligence and spiritual intelligence, it must continue to run and be parallel. To support this, the authors finally conducted this research using primary data and secondary data. Primary data is collected at the time of observation, interviews, and documentation, while secondary data is obtained through studies or literature studies on relevant reading sources. Based on the research that has been done, the author finally describes the various problems that are felt related to the literacy of high school students. In order to facilitate the analysis made by the author, data analysis is given using SWOT analysis. Furthermore, this will be further developed with various related articles that can support the analysis that has been carried out using this analysis. Apart from that, the main key in implementing character is applying the Koran to support spiritual intelligence and student character.
